Our Directors
Michael Bourke
Michael is accomplished in Clinical Guideline development and management systems for preventing falls and harm from falls in older people. He worked for Queensland Health to develop State Guidelines for Hospitals and Residential Aged Care facilities. He then coordinated Australia's Expert Panel in the production of Australia's 2005 Best Practice Guidelines and support material.

Michael is also a senior Orthopaedic Physiotherapist specialising in lower limb fractures and joint replacement in older people. He has over 10 years experience affording him a unique insight into the personal and organisational costs of falls and fall related injury. Michael lectures to undergraduate and post-graduate students at the University of Queensland and Griffith University. Michael also has high level experience in the private and public health care sectors.
Additionally, Michael is acknowledged for his authorship of the Fall Prevention section of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Silver Book. The Silver Book addresses the Medical Care of Older Persons in Residential Aged Care Facilities (Silver Book). Michael develops individually tailored, evidence based falls management programs that meet your needs.

Matthew Bannan
Matthew knows how to set up and sustain a successful Falls Management Program. He is a highly accomplished physiotherapist and health manager with over 10 years of extensive health sector experience. This includes clinical roles in the United Kingdom and Australia's public and private health systems. Matthew has lead the clinical care of elite sporting teams and has managed highly successful multi-disciplinary allied health clinics.
Matthew adopts a systemic approach to business and best practice in quality management. Matthew has excelled as an influential and successful change agent making him an asset to any team attempting to manage cultural change in an organisation. Matthew is transparent in his communication style which ensures seamless and timely achievement of your individualised and targeted goals.

Daniel Mellifont
Daniel has over a decade of experience as a Senior Physiotherapist and as a Director of multi-disciplinary healthcare teams. Daniel has established and managed health care services in the private sector, community institutions, for the general public and elite sporting teams.
Additionally, Daniel is a tutor, guest lecturer and consultant Physiotherapist with the University of the Sunshine Coast's Faculty of Science, Health and Education.
Daniel's extensive experience and knowledge in the area of falls and multidisciplinary, multifactorial management, and his excellent communication skills combine to assist you to achieve and exceed your organisation's goals.
